We are an independently owned and operated optometric practice in northwest Calgary, Alberta. Being independently owned enables us to provide only the most personal one-on-one experience. This experience starts the moment you book your appointment with our incredibly friendly staff and carries on throughout your examination with our highly trained doctors.

The clinic was founded in 1963 by Dr. Richard Snell, who is now retired.  In 2004, Dr. Brian Nakai joined the Brentwood Eye Clinic in northwest Calgary and brought the practice of Dr. Ivan McNabb to the Brentwood Eye Clinic. We have since grown with the addition of our associate Optometrists, Dr. Ronnie Blow and Dr. Ann-Marie Marsh.
